FAQ
What time of day should i schedule my smash?
Your baby is in charge of this show. When are they usually happiest? Morning? Evening? Make sure to give your baby a lot of time to wake up from nap and have a little snack before coming. In my experience evening cake smash sessions do not go as well as sessions before noon. Keep that in mind when selecting your time slot!
How far in advance should I book my session?
If you have a custom smash session I request AT LEAST 6 weeks of prep time, 8 weeks is even better. If it's a theme I have in stock, it's best to reach out as soon as you've decided to secure a date that suits you best. Keep in mind I need around 2 weeks to edit and deliver your session. If you'd like the images by the birthday please factor this into your date selection.
What do I bring to my cake smash?
*Cake
*Towel (for after splash session)
*Favorite snacks for baby (puff crackers or yogurt chips are great) I use these to stuff in the cake if the baby is hesitant to smash into it
*Any additional outfits you'd like baby photographed in <Please inform photographer in advance>
